Business Development Representative

The ideal candidate will cultivate relationships with prospective clients in order to catalyze business development success. This individual will schedule meetings with clients in order to understand their needs. They will also work closely with sales and research teams to uncover new leads. 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Act as consultants – our clients appreciate the value of our automating their research needs, so we take the time to understand those needs and address them head-on
  • Connect with prospects through written and verbal communication
  • Work closely with C-Suite executives and researchers to understand prospect needs, and for continued knowledge development
  • Prospect into accounts, searching for key points of contact
  • Strive for daily, weekly, and monthly demo goals, while providing an excellent experience for prospective customers
  • Work continuously on qualitative and quantitative metrics
  • Love to prospect – act as the engine of our sales team, revving up and warming up leads to be shared with our research team
  • Work with a strong sense of urgency, which translates into activity with the expectation of 50 activities a day
  • Naturally and highly curious – ask thorough and pointed questions, guiding potential clients through needs analysis and discovery sessions to qualify the lead and drive new opportunities

Front-end Developer

Rewire Neuro is hiring for a front-end developer position with a focus on native interface design and development. Rewire’s Pipsqueak Pro image analysis software is used by hundreds of biomedical researchers around the world to automate the detection and quantification of biological cell samples.  

This position is predominantly remote, but includes periodic in-person meetings with the rest of the Rewire team. Oregon residents strongly preferred.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or similar degrees OR 1-5 years of experience with enterprise software development.

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience with interface design and development (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Experience in Python, React, and Typescript are a bonus
  • At least 1 year experience in a permanent or intern enterprise software development position  
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Self-driven and innovative thinker, ready to adjust to the rapidly changing needs of a growing startup 
  • Flexibility to occasionally interact with a wide variety of customers/partners in both the private and public sectors
  • Respect and adaptability for other cultures, languages, and time zones
  • Ability to work well in teams with diverse experience, expertise, and backgrounds

Machine Learning Engineer 

Rewire Neuro is recruiting a Machine Learning Engineer to assist with ongoing development of our computer vision software for biomedical image analysis. Rewire Neuro is a Portland, OR based startup in the biotechnology sector focused on transforming microscopy research with cutting edge image analysis software used by scientists all over the world. We utilize machine learning to expedite critical research science in both the public and private sectors, with customers ranging from university research scientists to biotechnology companies studying the brain, cancer, reproductive health, and more. 

This position is predominantly remote, but includes periodic in-person meetings with the rest of the Rewire team. Oregon residents strongly preferred.

Education:

  • BS in math, computer science, engineering, or similar. Strong mathematics and coding (python) background is required.

Experience & Skills:

  • Strong background in Python; familiarity with MatLab preferred

  • Strong understanding of machine learning theory and familiarity with deep learning; computer vision experience preferred

  • Respect for and ability to work well with individuals from diverse backgrounds

  • Analyze datasets for errors and optimize model performance on small datasets.

  • Communicate with clients in an effective and professional manner.
